A friend of mine shared this information with me and now I'm going to share it with you.
****Tip for noisy toys from Diane. If the toy has a speaker (lucky you!) put layers of tape over it to muffle the sound. This worked on several toys for us. Masking tape works best, but whatever you have will work and is cheaper and more convenient than therapy.
Does that improve anyone's day in this post-holiday, messy house, where the heck are we going to put all this stuff madness?
Jody W.
PS. This does not work with kids, animals or spouses, btw. Exactly.

I had a toy mouse that lit up and made loud noises every time Belle touched it. I finally gave it to my son, and he ended up turning it off.
If it were just the lights, I would have kept it. I'll tell him about the masking tape. Thanks!
We've done this, saving our sanity. Now that they're older, we don't have many "noisy toys" in the house. Luckily, their game systems come with earphones : )
