My Speech Put Me to Sleep!

Last week, I was part of a writer posse giving a talk about the benefits of professional writer's organizations at the Cool Springs Barnes & Noble. I wasn't horribly nervous, but think I put myself to sleep! Or it might have been the blasted Benadryl I have to take twice a day. It definitely wasn't the company.

How'd it go?

Wish I could've been there. I'm sure you represented MCRW well. And fairies everywhere.

Did you really? LOL It would take a lot to put me to sleep while speaking in public. Way too nerve wracking.

You get gold stars for speaking to a crowd, even if you were sleeping at the time! In fact, that might be the best way. No heart palpatations, no sweaty palms, I think you are on to something here!

Either way, congrats on the successful event!
