I Can Has Diva?

Probably not (the eternal pessimist), but I'm in the running because I put myself there, not because I was nominated or anything. Anyway, The Romance Studio is running a TRS Diva Competition from now until early August that's going to involve free fiction, games, prizes and voting! I'm one of the 40 competitors. I don't usually enter stuff like this, but I enjoy what TRS does for the internet-inclined romance writers and readers among us, and the opportunity to create specialized writing samples snagged my attention. I loves me some writing samples.

The first vote to weed out the non-divas is based on one such writing sample. I'm not allowed to tell you which one is mine (and I wouldn't), but I want to encourage everyone to play along and vote for your favorite. If any authors do tell you which is theirs, be aware it's considered cheating.

This round is over on May 16, and the scenes are only a page or two long, so you should be fine. And hey--free fiction! Random voters will be chosen to get more free stuff, like books and other loot.
