It's April 7 -- Do You Know Where Your Thermometer Is?

Because the outdoor thermometer in the Meankitty household has apparently, through the mysteries of the space-time continuum, been relocated to HADES. It just LOOKS like it's on the front porch.

I mean, come ON! It's not even summer! It's April, for Pete's sake. Why is it 100 degrees? Is this the beginning of the end? My environmentalist sister, btw, says the place to move to, in order to survive global warming the longest, is upper Canada.

I am not looking forward to this summer.

Wacky weather, ain't it? Had the heat on this morning, now I'm blasting the air conditioner.

I haven't turned on the AC yet, but I have opened the windows.

Wow.

Exactly the reason I don't live any further south than Pennsylvania.

We suffered quite a deal this summer in Australia, many times 40C.
Now we'll have freezing temps probably for winter.
Already Felix is demanding the heater be put on as soon as the household is up. Alex enjoys it too.
Mitten being a female and less wussier is out on the decking

It was a "balmy" 35 here today. I think last summer it got up to 72, maybe even as high as 75!!!!

I'm wearing my sweatshirt today, but last summer was rough for me, even in Wis. Thank Dog for air conditioning. (I know it's not Thank Cat, because when the AC is on, the windows are closed and she can't sit in them.)

I know this will come as a shock, but I'm LOVING the warmer weather. I can finally stop wearing fleece. :) I never want to live further north than I do.

Wow only 100? I am WAITING for the 100+ days myself, it's why I moved to Texas :) Me, my floatie, a cooler of strongbow, all floating in the pool. And since Adair so UNgracefully fell in the other day and found that water isn't all that bad, I have hopes she'll join me on the floatie this summer. {yeah ok I know but what is life without hope?}
