Mrs. G Had No Snark For Me

The web's crankiest romance novel reviewer tackled A SPELL FOR SUSANNAH with less than painful results:

I am thrilled to see somebody's reading it, much less somebody who has a tendency to let 'er rip if something's not to her taste.

In other news, everyone here but Food Slave (that would be the hubby) has the flu. The cats have enjoyed the extended periods of time I have remained stationary, at least until Loud Thing ousts them from the Lap Throne. She isn't taking to the cats like Loud Thing did, nor they to her. Dog forbid we have to go the canine route to teach her to live in peace with the animal kingdom!

"Less than painful results"??? You are way too modest. Mrs. G liked your story quite a bit and gave you a very nice review. I'd be quoting that sucker all over creation if I were you!

Yes, you ARE allowed to toot your own horn. I can't do it all ; )

Jody, that's a really good review! Yay!!! I guess it's hard to be excited about anything when you have the flu. Good thing Food Slave isn't sick. Someone has to feed and water the cats.

BTW, I found out raisins and grapes can be toxic for cats and maybe dogs too. Right after I told my husband last night, Belle padded into the kitchen. My husband said, "Hey there, Belle. Want some grapes?"
