This Is Not A Catku

From: Typing Slave
To: Everyone

I just want you to know, I might lose it soon. I have been listening to the first four lines of "Who Let The Dogs Out?" as the girls open the musical card #1 got for her birthday yesterday over...and over...and over...for about 2 hours now. Okay, 20 minutes. I have not burst into 1000 shattered pieces of crazy-mom yet, but that might be imminent. I know you were all longing to read my upcoming releases from Samhain as well as any other books and such I manage to find an outlet for that involves me getting paid, but that may never happen since I don't think I can bear this torture much longer.

ETA: I believe the batteries are starting to wear down. It sounds more like "Who luh luh luh luh let the dddddogggggs out?" Surely the worst is over.

ETA: The worse was yet to come! They've learned to sing it themselves. The batteries will NEVER wear down in the kids.

ETA: I did not get any writing done today.

ETA: A haiku:

Who let the dogs out?
Some rappy men whom I wish
Had let themselves out.

Sincerely,
TS

LOL at Cathy's comment. I bought my husband a "Wild Thing" card for his birthday. Mean Kitty would never get tired of that one.
