Thinking Blogger Awards

Some crazy human nominated me for a Thinking Blogger Award. She liked this other meme she herself caused me to write, which probably explains why she liked that particular piece. I mean, I have much meaner blog entries about clever places to barf, how to keep slaves awake, and how to tell if your cat buddy, say, Big D, has been bodysnatched by aliens.

For those unfamiliar with the Thinking Blogger, the rules are:

• If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
• Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
• Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote

But enough about that. What are 5 blogs / blog entries that I think deserve this award?

1) http://welcometorascalsworld.blogspot.com/ -- Check out this entry where the slave of Rascal managesd a very clever solution to an age-old kitty problem: http://welcometorascalsworld.blogspot.com/2007/04/commotion.html Not that I allow MY slave to humor the strays, but some slaves are more suckerific.

2) http://artsycatsy.blogspot.com/ -- This cat has a company to run (Artsy Catsy) but still finds time to blog, or have his Typing Slave blog, about life as a CEO. Here's a great thinking blog about why vets suck: http://artsycatsy.blogspot.com/2007/04/13-reasons-not-to-go-to-vet.html

3) http://melange1.blogspot.com/ -- Many cats seem to reside at this blog, and their slave is a primo photographer. Check out this cat practicing for Kitty Olympics: http://melange1.blogspot.com/2007/04/tuesdays-tumbling-tummy.html Obviously she gets the silver compared to my GOLD, but impressive nonetheless.

5) http://merlinsmeows.blogspot.com/ -- Merlin and Dobby seem to be in a competition for who is more handsome and cute, probably so they can get more TREATS: http://merlinsmeows.blogspot.com/2007/04/cute.html I'd win that, too! (Because I would sabotage my competitors.)
