A Taxing Race

In honor of TAX DAY in the US of A, here are Big D and Loud Thing preparing to race to the post office at the last minute. Ok, ok, they're really racing towards the piece of food Pink Thing just dropped on the floor to see who can be first to grab it, try to eat it and then kak it back up, but you'll allow me some creative license on my own blog, I trust!

Loud Thing (still crawling, not yet walking) does try to keep the floors clean in the dining room, such as it is, which is ok when you're talking about the Cheerios and other weird A shaped things she drops herself, but when Pink Thing drops cheese or pieces of fish or chicken, well, those belong to ME. So I'm not sure this new competitor in the ranks of the treat-seeking is to my liking. And LT is FAST, too.




Everyone have a nice day if you can. It's April and it's snowing here in the Deep Kitty South, murdering Typing Slave's large vats of sprouting lettuce I'd been hoping she'd share with us. So very, very dumb.
