Know how I'm always talking about my SOHC trick where I scratch the metal garbage can when they're trying to sleep? Well, this is my instructional video for the kitties out there who'd like to see this in action. Note the added effect of staring while scratching and interrupting the scratching to get up in the face of the slave.
Use this wisely! It can get you permanently banned from the bedroom, so be sure to achieve a certain degree of inconsistency as well.

That is excellent! I am very impressed, and I will try to find a way to implement this skill at my house.
That rocks Meankitty. I hate that my slaves do not have a metal trash can in their room...or anywhere in the house. If they ever procure one, I shall join in on the fun!
I love that little chirp your cat makes! :-) I don't know how you get away with a trash can without a lid. My guys would have stuff pulled out of the trash in nothing flat if we didn't have a lid.
