I do a lot of my tormenting at night. The slaves seem to be easier to dismay at that time, and according to SOHC guidelines (Society of House Cats, for those of you not familiar with my site), when you can make them lose sleep you get twice the points. The other night, I didn't bedmouse Nanny Slave or scratch the garbage cans or even lick the plastic bags. I got one of the Loud Thing's jingle bug toys and ran across the bottom of the bed with it as fast as I could. Repeatedly. Sometimes I jumped off the bed and dashed into the rest of the house, thumping and bumping, but mostly I concentrated my efforts on the room of Nanny Slave. When she crawled out of bed and shut her door, I stood beside it and scratched and cried piteously, with increasing volume, until I woke up the entire house.
Now THAT is an achievement!
