Pink Thing was playing with the red toy phone she adored as a baby which now "belongs" to Loud Thing, inasmuch as any toys currently belong to Loud Thing considering Pink Thing's inquisitive nature. She put it to her ear and had the following conversation with the person on the other end. However, this is just her side of it.

"Hello?"
"Hi, it's me. What is your name?"
(long pause)
Stated in a voice of confusion: "What kind of cereal do I like? Uhhh...."
(another long pause, followed by a look of disgust)
"Oh it's just a machine!!"

Wonder where she picked that up?
